Donald Trump’s muscular Anti-Communist pronouncements and observations from his 2000 book on public policy The America We Deserve highlighted the seditious role reversal underlying the manufactured “Trump-Russia collusion” faux narrative.

A simple juxtaposition of Trump’s written words, versus the writings, utterances and behaviors of key players orchestrating what is now tantamount to a putsch (or coup d’etat, per former Federal prosecutor DiGenova)) against POTUS Trump—John Brennan, Nellie Ohr, Christopher Steele, and James Comey—should make this dichotomy plain to even the most blinkered, and doctrinaire Never Trumpers of any persuasion.

Readers are referred to my colleague Diana West’s extensive, illuminating backgrounders to contextualize the hard Left (even Pro-Communist) proclivities of Nellie Ohr, Christopher Steele, and John Brennan. Nellie Ohr, for example (summarized in this West interview), is a full-throated apologist for Stalin’s 1930s Ukrainian terror-famine, which according to great Sovietologist Robert Conquest’s “The Harvest of Sorrow” (p. 306), killed some 14.5 million souls. “Confirmed socialistChristopher Steele worked for the subversive, Marxist-infiltrated Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. And John Brennan has admitted casting his 1976 POTUS vote for Communist Party of the USA leader Gus Hall, who was then virulently anti-American, and an overt champion of the “liberating” hegemonic Soviet Communist terror state under Communist dictator (and Hall’s “Comrade”) Brezhnev. Hall articulated these views in a 1975 “Report to the 21st Convention of the Communist Party” (p. 33):

Détente is not an agreement to accept, or to turn one’s head from oppression by [US] imperialism anywhere. Comrade Leonid Brezhnev made this clear in a public statement here when he stated: ‘The Soviet Union’s support for all national liberation struggles and movements is non-negotiable.’

Even James Comey has acknowledged his dalliance with Communism, as reported October, 2003 by New York Magazine’s Chris Smith.

Below are key extracts from Trump’s 2000 “The America We Deserve which decried what he characterized unabashedly as “oppressive Communism” in China, the former Soviet Union, & Cuba. These remarks are followed by verbatim oral or written quotes, and media reports illustrating the opposite sentiments—i.e., pro-Communist leanings—of the anti-Trump putschists, John BrennanNellie Ohr, Christopher Steele, and James Comey.

Donald Trump, “The America We Deserve”—

On China: “Where I break rank with many business colleagues and foreign policy gurus, is in my unwillingness to shrug off the mistreatment of China’s citizens by their own government. My reason is simple: These oppressive policies make it clear that China’s current government has contempt for our way of life. It fears freedom because it knows its survival depends on oppression. It does not respect individual rights. It is still, at heart, a collectivist society. As such it is a destabilizing force in the world, and should be viewed that way.”

On the former Soviet Union: “Communism has fallen, the party is no longer in control, the citizens of the Soviet states have an opportunity for the first time in generations to take charge of their own lives and build a Western-style free democracy.

On Cuba: “What Castro has done to Cuban society is disgraceful. Terror reigns, the police are unrestrained; beatings and citizen disappearances are common, and all free expression outside the Communist Party is crushed.”

John Brennan, Nellie Ohr, Christopher Steele on the America We Deserve—

John Brennan, as described, and quoted, in a 9/15/2016 CNN story:

“This was back in 1980, and I thought back to a previous election [1976] where I voted, and I voted for the Communist Party candidate,”… But he [Brennan] soon got his admission notice to the CIA and was relieved, he said, saying that though the agency still had long strides to make in accepting gay recruits and minorities, even then it recognized the importance of freedom. [Brennan] “So if back in 1980, John Brennan was allowed to say, ‘I voted for the Communist Party with Gus Hall’ … and still got through, rest assured that your rights and your expressions and your freedom of speech as Americans is something that’s not going to be disqualifying of you as you pursue a career in government.”

Nellie Ohr, whose writings, including her PhD thesis, were quoted and analyzed by Diana West in The American Spectator, 2/22/2018. West also summarized these themes in a subsequent radio interview:

“Ohr writes: ‘To introduce students to the Stalin era can be a frustrating task. To convey the terror and excitement of the period, one can assign a memoir of a prison camp victim or an observer such as John Scott or Maurice Hindus.’ Terror and excitement? Not incidentally, Maurice Hindus was an epic Soviet apologist. As for John Scott, Whittaker Chambers i.d.’d him in Witness as belonging to the cabal inside Time magazine that tried to get the ex-Communist witness fired; much later (to be fair, probably after Ohr wrote her review) Scott was revealed to have infiltrated the OSS for the NKVD (codename ‘Ivanov’).”

“For someone to be an apologist for Stalin’s policies for example the [Soviet] state moving into agriculture or how it worked in the aftermath of this tremendous upheaval and miserable period [i.e., the 1930s Ukrainian Terror-Famine, which killed 14.5 million per Robert Conquest’s “The Harvest of Sorrow”, p. 301] does say a lot about how she looks at government and what the government should do. In other words it is a very revolutionary attitude to believe that there could be ‘stabilization.’ [i.e., via Terror-Famine policies]. She writes about the ‘paradoxes’ of the Stalin era, which of course tells us that there were features of that era she found to be beneficial to her utopian vision of how people were told to live. So we have that mindset at the heart of that [fraudulent anti-Trump] dossier scandal, where the ends justify the means.”

Christopher Steele, from a Daily Mail 1/12/2017 report:

Contemporaries recall an ‘avowedly Left-wing student with CND [i.e., the subversive, Marxist front, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament] credentials’, while a book on the Union’s history says he was a ‘confirmed socialist’.”

James Comey, from a 10/20/2003 New York Magazine profile:

I’d moved from Communist to whatever I am now. I’m not even sure how to characterize myself politically. Maybe at some point, I’ll have to figure it out.”
