Stages Repertory Theatre breaks ground on new campus named for prominent Houstonians


Stages Repertory Theatre held a groundbreaking ceremony on May 15 for its new 66,850-square-foot campus a block south of its current Allen Parkway location. 

The three-theater campus, at 800 Rosine St., is expected to open to during the 2019-2020 season. It will be called The Gordy, named in honor of a $5 million matching grant from local philanthropists Glenda and Russell Gordy, an oil and real estate magnate.
